About All On Deck

A narrative-driven approach to wedding photography and films.

We’re Joren & Cat — a couple who get to spend our weekends documenting other couples’ wedding days.

We first met in a dance class in college, then reconnected six years later during a musical theatre production. Somewhere between rehearsals and performances, we realized we worked really well together — and that carried into everything else we do.

Now we shoot weddings side by side.

We both have backgrounds in dance, stage, and film, which naturally shapes how we approach photography and video. We notice posture, movement, light — the little things that make a moment feel natural and look its best, without overthinking it.

How we work

We’re both behind the camera throughout the day.

Sometimes we’re capturing the same moment from different angles.
Sometimes we’re in completely different places, catching things the other might miss.

Cat has an eye for the small details — making sure your hair is in place, your dress is sitting right, and everything looks how you’d want it to.

Joren focuses on the bigger picture — framing, light, and how everything comes together visually across both photo and film.

Together, it means you’re taken care of — and nothing gets overlooked.

The Experience

We’re not big on turning your wedding into a production.

No overcomplicated posing.
No forcing moments.

We’ll guide you when you need it — especially when it comes to things like posture, positioning, and natural movement — and step back when it’s time to just let things happen.

Most of the time, we’re just blending in, paying attention, and stepping in at the right moments.

The Film side of things

If you decide to add video, we create what we call a Wedding Film Album — a film shaped through music that feels more like something you’ll want to rewatch than just a recap of the day.

It’s built around the moments that matter most, so it flows naturally and actually feels like your day.

Fun Fact

In 2022, we entered a 48-Hour Film Project together — writing, filming, and editing a short film in two days.

We somehow ended up winning!

It’s probably the most stressful and fun thing we’ve done together — and a big reason we trust how we work as a team now.

The funny thing is, we entered to step away from our usual wedding romance content, and the genre chosen for us... was ROMANCE! Enjoy the film below if you have time!
